Missions We Support
SPW tithes a minimum of 10% of our offerings to ministries around the world that are helping people encounter the living God. Many from our church family also give to these ministries.
Here are some of our favorite missions that we support:
We LOVE our school and seeing the children being nurtured in a Christ-centered and caring way. Well-known for strong academics and devoted teachers, the children learn social skills that reflect the love that Jesus has for both them and others.
BRM demonstrates the love of God to the hungry, homeless, and addicted in the Coastal Fairfield County of Connecticut. They provide a place of hope and dignity, fighting poverty from the inside out. Many members of SPW serve faithfully at BRM.
This ministry was founded out of SPW 20 years ago and is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty in Honduras through relief, education, technology, and empowerment. SPW has taken many mission trips to CRM.
Gospel for Tribals Social Service Society
GTSSS is dedicated to serving humanity through the love of Christ such as helping, feeding and educating poor and needy children; providing fresh and clean drinking water through bore wells; helping widows; helping Leprosy sufferers; educational institutions; church planting; Bible school; medical aid, and much more.
Founded out of SPW, this ministry is dedicated to multiple causes, especially assisting mothers who choose to give their child LIFE, as opposed to abortion. Its commitment is to preserve and protect children in a safe, loving, confidential environment.
For over 16 years, Hope Homes has provided orphaned and abandoned Kenyan children a safe and loving home where they can live, laugh, grow, learn, and thrive. Numerous children have encountered Jesus through this ministry.
Hopeline Pregnancy Resource Center
Hopeline Pregnancy Resource Center is a pro-life ministry that has been helping women in Connecticut for over 30 years. They are committed to caring for women and their families through their free and confidential pregnancy services. Clinic locations are in Stamford, Bridgeport and Danbury.
The Hoving Home is a residential spiritually-based home. It serves women ages 18 and over who have been involved in drug addiction, alcoholism, prostitution and other life-controlling problems. They are restored by Jesus and given life skills to win in the future.
Emanuel is a Lutheran mission church in Sora, Panama. Through a strong family ministry and powerful worship experience, the Holy Spirit is stirring in the hearts of the people of Panama. SPW has partnered with Emanuel for many years and seen Jesus do a great work there.

Located in Norwalk, Pivot’s mission is to treat drug and alcohol addiction as a spiritual problem and return the men to their families usefully whole. Men graduate this program with the security and knowledge of the Bible and become valuable members of their churches.
