You Don't Choose Your Family

We often hear, “You can’t choose your family,” usually with a sigh. Desmond Tutu reframed it: “You don’t choose your family. They are God’s gift to you, as you are to them.” In a culture centered on the self, this week we’ll rediscover the blessing — and the challenge — of belonging to God’s family. Even when we feel like pulling away, Scripture invites us to see the church as God’s chosen gift, shaping us and sending us into His world.
